ABOUT ABOUT

Freedom Comes at a Price.  April 2, 2016

On June 6, 1944 200 newly minted US commandos were at the tip of the spear to breach Hitler’s Atlantic Wall. But before the  Rangers  scaled the cliffs of Pointe Du Hoc they underwent the most vigorous training the US military had ever seen. Learning to scale sheer cliffs, hand to hand combat, and operating behind enemy lines- these first of America’s Special Operation Forces became deadly weapons  against the oppressors of Europe.

Operation: Silent Torch honors their sacrifice.

General Schedule

This one day event goes from 0730 (7:30 am) to 2100 (9:00 pm) Saturday. You’ll be instructed in several courses, including the following:

Tenets of Leadership: Develop your understanding of Biblical masculine leadership.

Mountaineering: Scale the cliffs*

Tactical Combat Casualty Care: This won’t be your average first aid class.

Waterborne Ops: Learn small boat tactics of the Rangers still in use today, water survival, and beach assault.

Ranger Run: Between throwing hand grenades and clearing obstacles- our cadre will put you through a physical grinder similar to that of a WWII era Ranger.

This operation will be unique in the sense that typically our events span an entire weekend. If you would like to stay outdoors longer than a day, we will provide participants with details on camping accommodations before and after our event.

*Weather permitting. Alternate instructional periods are planned in the event of unfavorable conditions.

Restrictions

Men only. Must be over 18. US citizens only. There is an $10 fee for the venue in addition to your registration with us. Some assembly required. Do not use in the shower. Contents may be hot.
